Mother, Significant Other, Ex-Wife, Daughter, Voracious Reader. I don't have television reception or know how to "tweet"
hahaha Sid & I had that same bumper sticker, and then after i left him i bought it again for my own car...I like to call it "the plug-in-drug." gawd i hate that thing and it's an ongoing source of strife at Chez Prana. Slack-jawed, that's the way *some people* watch it.
"If I'm going to get a story, I'll get a movie." (quoted from the construction worker in AL). Movies aren't the same as books on any level at all. I've always enjoyed reading and pre-mom days I could read at least two books per week, maybe more if I was so inclined to stay up all night. Now I'm down to one per week. We read to Cody every night, I really hope he learns to enjoy reading and not see it as a chore. I can't imagine going through life without reading a book for enjoyment. Thanks for sharing that. TV definitely contributes to the "dumbing down" of America.
